About Jordan

At the heart of the Middle East, Jordan sits at one of the most important crossroads in the entire world. Jordan is full of historical sites and buildings, exquisite mountains and striking desert expanses.

The region around the Dead Sea was the place where much of the Old Testament is based, and must count among the most archaeologically examined sites anywhere.

Considered one of the oldest cities in the world, Jordan's capital, Amman, retains bits of its Neolithic past but more obviously embraces the Western world of fashionable shops, high-end hotel chains, international cuisine, and an emphasis on current arts and culture.
